GDPR & Your Data Rights

Role Copilot is a product of Genprosys Ltd, a UK-registered company. We process personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This page summarises your rights and how we comply.

Legal basis

We process your data where necessary to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), and where we have a legitimate interest (e.g. improving the product, security). Where we need your consent (e.g. marketing), we will ask for it separately.

Your rights (UK/EEA)

• Access – You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification – You can ask us to correct inaccurate data (you can also update much of this in the dashboard).
• Erasure – You can request deletion of your data, subject to legal and operational requirements.
• Restriction – You can ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances.
• Data portability – Where applicable, you can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Object – You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent – Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@rolecopilot.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK or your local supervisory authority.

Data we process

We process account data (email, name), resume and profile content, usage data necessary to provide tailored CVs and applications, and payment-related data. We do not use your resume or application content to train general-purpose AI models. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
